Hello, I just spoke with someone at Inside Edition regarding the moving company my parents used to move from Williamsburg, VA to Winter Haven, Florida. They ended paying 200% more than was originally quoted (they were told this AFTER the moving company was in possesion of their furniture). They asked for more money several times, and my parents felt they had them over a barrel because they wanted their furniture back, and didn't know what else to do. The moving company was about a week late with their furniture, and when they showed up, everything was busted and broken, with many items still missing, and the company said they didn't know where it was, and that they were just delivering it and didn't work for that company. Well, it turns out they DO work for that company. They've just changed their name. The original name was I Relocation, and they are now called Sun City Movers. The company is based in Florida. Whenever I've tried to call them, they end up yelling at me and hanging up on me. When I try to call back, they won't pick up. My parents have experienced the same thing. The company is based in Florida, and I have talked to several people who have had the same experience. Many of whom never received their furniture. My parents did receive some of theirs, but as I said, everything is broken, including my deceased grandmother's China. My mom is an emotional mess and cannot stop crying. They still haven't located my father's medals from Vietnam. These people are criminals and deserve to be in jail. I hope that you can investigate in order to give my parents some peace. They moved to Florida in order to enjoy their golden years after 45 years of marriage, and this is their first experience in their new house.
